2nd BEACON Meeting in Vienna

The BEACON COST Action CA24106 – Building Education and One Health with Adaptive Convergence and Open Networks – will hold its 2nd BEACON Meeting in Vienna, Austria, on 18 and 19 June 2026.

This meeting represents an important opportunity to continue strengthening the collaborative work initiated during the Almería kick-off meeting and to advance the scientific, educational and organisational objectives of the Action.

The Vienna meeting will bring together BEACON members involved in the different Working Groups, with a particular focus on consolidating ongoing tasks, clarifying next steps, and promoting active collaboration across the network.

The event will provide space for discussion, coordination and strategic planning around the core aims of BEACON, including:

  • advancing One Health education;
  • strengthening interdisciplinary and international collaboration;
  • supporting the work of the different Working Groups;
  • promoting capacity building and knowledge exchange;
  • identifying concrete outputs and deliverables for the next stages of the Action.

The meeting will also serve as a valuable opportunity to foster networking among members, encourage participation from different countries and disciplines, and support the development of future activities within the BEACON framework.
